April 4th-7th 2019

Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, Ireland

Conor Garrett is a Gold PPI award winning, BBC Northern Ireland based, radio producer.

Conor is one of Northern Ireland’s most established radio feature makers.

Alongside crafting his own programmes for BBC networks including Radio 4, a big part of his job as BBC NI’s Network Development Producer is about helping others to do the same.

Conor’s work on The Listening Project – a joint initiative between BBC Radio and the British Library – saw him pick up Gold in the Short Feature Category of the 2013 PPI Awards.

He’s also helped create new opportunities for collaboration between BBC Radio Ulster and RTE Documentary On One - sharing content, swapping techniques and exchanging the odd jealous glance.

In his spare time Conor is under constant fire and threat of violence from two insolent young sons.
