Kilfinane Outdoor Education Centre, situated in Kilfinane village.
Right in the middle of Kilfinane, The Outdoor Education Centre offers traditional hostel accommodation in dormitories of 4-6 people. They do multi-night packages for the Festival - FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY ONLY - They do not have accomodation on the Thursday. You can book at their website here: http://www.kilfinaneoec.com/information/online-bookings.html UPDATE 25th January - there are 32 spaces across a variety of shared rooms still available at the Kilfinane OEC for Friday and Saturday - SUGGESTION: If staying longer, you can combine this with staying at Charleville Park Hotel for Thursday and Sunday (there are still plenty of rooms available on those two nights).
Homestays are spare beds in houses of local people who do not normally operate B&B or AirBn'B. Guests pay their hosts. Its a great way to meet local people, for local people to engage with HearSay and it spreads the economic benefits of HearSay to every corner of the surrounding area. Places are limited and in high demand.
UPDATE 10th January 2019 - Registration of Interest for Homestay accomodation is now open - Click here to register interest
To be fair, homestays will be allocated in the order that people register interest as suitable homestays become available. Please note that Registration of Interest DOES NOT GUARANTEE a homestay. It is only an expression of Interest - see the FAQ's on the Registration of Interest page for how it works.
Are you a local person who would like to offer Homestay accomodation for HearSay19? If so we'd love to hear from you, please drop an email to contact:@hearsayfestival.ie
